She walks.
You see, there’s a girl who lives on our street. This girl walks around the neighbourhood, varying her route - I assume to avoid monotony. I wonder what she thinks about, when she walks. She listens to her music, taking steps down familiar streets, up onto curbs she’s walked a hundred times before. I wonder why she walks. Does she want to lose weight? Does she truly enjoy taking two or three walks a day? Does she have a disease/condition which forces her to stroll so much? Whatever the reason, I don’t know, but I’m fascinated with her journeys. Fascinated with the fact that I don’t know why she walks. And I probably never will.
It’s amazing how, sometimes, a complete stranger can puzzle a person so much and then other strangers, make so much sense.
